Self-taught artist, Nancy initially pursued a successful career in the shipping industry but spent much of her spare time producing large floral watercolours until in 1996 she decided to start painting full time, coinciding with a move towards abstract themes. At that time she signed an exclusive contract with Demontfort Fine Art and her works have been featured in the Grand Designs television series, Elle Decoration magazine and there are five paintings on board Cunard’s Queen Victoria.
More recently, Nancy has taken a bold new approach to her work, moving beyond the earlier commercially driven work sold by Demontfort to concentrate on a fresh new style, manipulating poured paint and ink.
